Updating website and programs

Hi All,,

for those of you who follow our little camp we updated the website www.highflight.ca and have changed some of the programs. I invite you to get all of the info from the website, but I'll put a brief synopsis here:

1. 2 camps this year only, 24 max each camp

2. both camps are mixed boys and girls aged 12-15 years old. (some 11 and some 16 years olds will be there)

3. New programing, we will be sleeping in the Canadian Aviation Musuem, we will be taking 2 bus rides, 1 day will be wave pool and Ottawa Air Traffic control facility, and another day will be Vintage Wings Collection then the wave pool.

4. We will still build and fire rockets (lots and lots), we will still build and fly our high end German Balsa Gliders, we will not be building wooden airplane models (these took too long), instead all of our particpants will be working on building components out of aluminum for a real flying airplane. You will all get to sign the parts you built, and eventually the plane will fly for the camp.

5. Nightly firepits again, with marshmellows, hot dogs etc,, and 2 special guests will be coming to talk about their aviation experiences. After fire time, movies and bedtime.

6. Be a flight crew member is still on with a change. This year we will fly from Rockcliffe to Embrun then to Pendleton and back.

7. Most importantly for Mom and Dad!! Camps are now Monday to Friday, drop off 9:00 am on Monday, and Pickup at 5:00pm on Friday.

8. The cost of the camp has gone down. Last year 11-13 year olds were 699.00 for 4 days of programming and 14-15 year olds were 899.99 for 4 days of programming. This year its 799.00 for everyone and its 5 days of programming!!

We would have like to reduce programing costs some more, but we still need more corporate support to do that. Stay tuned.
